The replacement 993-specific seal is staggeringly expensive. For $30 you can buy a door seal on eBay made to fit earlier 1984 to 1988 Carreras. You can cut a section out of it as a donor to replace the worn threshold section on your 993’s seal. I use a replacement section long enough to run up the door jamb a bit making for a clean-looking install. The profile is the same, on some suppliers’ after-market seals the finish differs slightly, no biggie. One seal is long enough for several repair jobs. If you have a concern about a neat joining new to old you can use a small section of fish tank air hose slipped into the joined ends to make the mating line up.
6/6/2023 - Jac991 from Rennlist suggests the ends where the new molding meets the old can be lined up and glued together with a little super glue to make a cosmetically flawless joining.
Below are pictures of the replacement section of the seal in place. On the rear door side the joint is at the edge of the threshold cover on the front side I decided to run the replacement seal up to about midway in the door jam.
